Does the media have a duty to "respect" royalty?

We andswered that in the 18thCentruty. Hell NO!
Unless that royal has done something personally to earn respect like Price Andrw playing bait for Ant-ship missiles, or the Queen driving an ambulance during the blitz. The family has many members worth of respect as do many families.
But none is owed because their ancestors killed off their opposition to steel a particular bit of real estate.

SSG Shavonde Chase - The whole notion of royalty is bogus - that someone is "entitled" to rule based on a bloodline. I wouldn't go out of my way to treat them with disrespect, but I certainly wouldn't give them any special deference, either.

Respect, yes however it should not be to the point of bias reporting that we have seen so much of.
