Does the sfc board (ssg evaluation board) look at 1059s from alc?

I know they usually only have a couple mins per file. What items are they most concerned with? Do they look at alc 1059s?

Promotion Board
HRC

Yes they do. You can see all the items the board views on your board file.

NCOERs carry them most weight, specifically the Senior Rater Comments and Block Check. When all things are equal, board members will dive into 1059 to look for DHG and CL. Remember, board members only have less than 5 minutes per file and have to review thousands of SSG packets to try and select the best NCOs from the Secondary and Primary Zones.

Yes. When I look at 1059s, I am looking for honor graduate or statements exemplifying leadership.
Remember, 1059s are evaluations. We give them as much attention as NCOERs, because it encompasses rated time that is not on your annual reports.
