Does the U.S. have more people incarcerated than China?

Bernie Sanders says more people are incarcerated in the U.S. than in China. How do you think he knows that? You can't believe any stats the Chinese publicize. I was stationed at the U.S. Embassy in China. The Chinese execute and incarcerate far more people than we do.

LTC Ed Ross It's a simple (and sad) fact that the one of the last few things that the US is #1 in these days is the percentage of it's adult population incarcerated.

Our numbers are transparent and accurate. Funny how a country the killed over 60 millioon of its own citizens from WW2' through the end of the cultural revolution would be lionized by a socialist in the US Senate. Calling Captain Reneault! Bring me my shocked face!
