I had a friend that was treated for prostrate cancer. He drew 100% during the time he was treated which it was reduced to 50% unemployable. He died a year later of COPD. He couldn't put down the cigarettes. Just curious because last year I was out of work for 10 weeks due to shoulder surgery (the shoulder is service connected). I know it's too late, but again, just curious. With that said, if the surgery isn't due to a service connected claim, I am pretty sure the VA won't do anything for you. Give the VA a call and ask them, or call DAV or the VFW. They have people that are trained in processing claims. SGM Steve Wettstein Tue, 03 Dec 2019 08:33:41 -0500 2019-12-03T08:33:41-05:00 2019-12-02T12:43:26-05:00
