Does USACIDC accept commissioned officers?

I am currently finishing up my bachelor's in criminal justice and have been accepted in the master's program in order to get my MS in forensic science. In addition, I am an MP in the Reserves and a cadet in ROTC. I was 2 points off from the 110 GT score needed for warrant officer school, which is why I'm asking if I should just stay the commissioned officer route or retake the ASVAB in order to receive that GT score for warrant officer school.

CID often has an officer to WO Special Agent option, but not sure if its currently available (check the CID website). May I ask why you want to go CID? I ask only because U.S. Army Counterintelligence (CI) also has Special Agents, and in CI, Regular Officers can become certified Special Agents as well.

No, Officers are in the admin positions only. They have nothing to do with investigations . Enlisted and Warrant Officers

It all boils down to two things. Do you want to get the technical route and do your job as an investigator or do you want to do the commission ed thing and command work s3 etc without the guarantee of staying CID?
