Especially if you hold an elevated clearance or have a position that is considered high vis. That is standard SOP to identify anyone who can be exploited.Response by SSgt Christophe Murphy made Jan 28 at 2021 1:30 PM2021-01-28T13:30:34-05:002021-01-28T13:30:34-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member6700315<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Thanks guys. I just have a few big credit cards but nothing delinquent just don’t want to waste my time applying then getting rejected or yanked out in the middle of schoolResponse by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 28 at 2021 1:33 PM2021-01-28T13:33:20-05:002021-01-28T13:33:20-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member6700787<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you don't have any delinquent debt, you should be fine. Delinquent debt is an issue for things like recruiting or security clearances. People who regularly are working to pay off their debt isn't an issue.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 28 at 2021 3:53 PM2021-01-28T15:53:53-05:002021-01-28T15:53:53-05:00SSG Brian G.6701754<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes. Any command can run this and it is normal in cases of security clearance positions above secret and any position of real authority. This is to insure that you are not a risk and cannot be exploited by a foreign or even local influence. <br /><br />As long as you are not seriously delinquent, are paying your debt down or are actively managing it you are fine.Response by SSG Brian G. made Jan 28 at 2021 9:40 PM2021-01-28T21:40:15-05:002021-01-28T21:40:15-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member6888332<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes. But it shouldn't be a problem if you aren't delinquent with anything.<br /><br />Back in the olden days it was said that the problem children trended towards being Privates with 29% interest loans on "almost new"/"dealer demo" pony cars, SSGs (with the help of their spouses) writing more checks than they had money, and CPTs with credit cards.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 9 at 2021 2:21 AM2021-04-09T02:21:36-04:002021-04-09T02:21:36-04:002021-01-28T12:39:51-05:00
