Doesn't it seem unjust that $24 million dollars is raised for a Presidential campaign but VA programs are being cut?

And just remember, $24m is only a drop in the bucket. It will be well into the billions of dollars, across all Presidential candidates, by the time November 2016 rolls around.

Could it be they forgot they also work for the people of this country and the people do not work for them? I think so... It shamefully sick the way they think of & treat others also. Leadership happens to be a weak subject in their world.

Politicians can throw us in harms way, and expect us to do our job. But, it would appear that they don't feel that they need to keep their promises once our jobs are done.

Well now that is just the beginning of it all, Don't forget that most of our Reps in office are already well off before taking office and they only have to serve 1 term and fixed for life. Also they all give themselves a big raise each year while the service man gets next to nothing. Then it really doesn't matter where the go to, be it driving or flying our tax dollars pay for all there travels even if it back home for vacation to there state and another thing is that each President has to have there own library and who pays for it all millions upon millions of dollars for not only the Library but all the travels for all of them and a raise just about every year and all there bills.. WE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. We should take all that money that we pay for them and put it where it should be to help our VETS and homeless. They are rich before taking office and pay for all there travels and everything else, but when they take office they stop paying for things themselves and start waisting money because its not coming from there own accounts. I can go on and on and on, but that is for another time.

I agree, if these rich people and organizations really wanted change for good they would invest and donate that money to causes that matter instead of "buying" influence and power from a potential US President. Their priorities are far from good natured. All they are looking for is more money, more power, and more influence so organizations like the IRS will look the other way in their financial dealings.

Yes it does seem unjust, CPT Private RallyPoint Member. I think the amount of money everyone spends on political campaigns is obscene. It would be great if all candidates were limited to a certain amount, including PACs, but I doubt that will ever happen. And our priorities will continue to be out of whack.

It seems that priorities have been the same for decades --money, power and control--the only time morality is considered is when the power is in fear of loosing the other two.
