Almost every medic (both military and civilian) I know has some type of Star of Life, EMS, or combat medic related ink. I never got one specifically for that reason.<br /><br />That being said... If you have a favorite artist you like from your previous tattoos, see if they can create a unique design that is distinctly yours. You might be surprised at what they come up with.Response by MSgt Steven Holt, NRP, CCEMT-P made Dec 4 at 2022 5:34 AM2022-12-04T05:34:17-05:002022-12-04T05:34:17-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member8011128<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The only non-cliche one I ever saw was one on my junior medic's. He showed up in country, fresh out of AIT with the words "COMBAT" down the back of the left upper arm, and "MEDIC" down the back of the right one. You could really see it well when he was doing pushups lolResponse by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 4 at 2022 6:42 AM2022-12-04T06:42:22-05:002022-12-04T06:42:22-05:00SGM Private RallyPoint Member8013043<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>funny: "I run with scissors"<br />practical: the complete nine line medevac call<br />thinker: a bottle of whiskey with old no. 68 on the label<br />biker: a Sons of Anarchy tattoo adapted to Sons of HippocratesResponse by SGM Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 5 at 2022 8:55 AM2022-12-05T08:55:08-05:002022-12-05T08:55:08-05:00SSG Dave Johnston8039601<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>How about the EFMB/CMB medal on your left scapula....<br />a bit better than having 'Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania' tattooed on one's privatesResponse by SSG Dave Johnston made Dec 21 at 2022 2:45 AM2022-12-21T02:45:41-05:002022-12-21T02:45:41-05:00CPL Private RallyPoint Member8054957<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Medic here, I think they are all cliche unless you did some real medic stuff. Maybe get a tattoo from an experience medic related? But if you have earned EFMB or anything like that, I think a tattoo would be okay.Response by CPL Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 29 at 2022 11:36 AM2022-12-29T11:36:02-05:002022-12-29T11:36:02-05:002022-12-04T01:40:19-05:00
