I had the pleasure of meeting him twice over the years and was present when the City of Enumclaw unveiled the plaque seen here and gave Edward Saylor an honorary key to the city. They were all great men and we owe to them to keep telling their stories. His airplane crashed in China and he was captured by the Japanese. After the war he went back to Japan as a missionary, met and converted his former captor to Christianity.
