Double your influence points by sharing to Facebook?

So every time I post a reply, I notice the little check box that says something about sharing my reply to Facebook and getting double influence points. I decided to try it out but I didn't notice a double increase in my points, just the standard 10 influence points for posting a reply.

Not that it's too big a deal, but am I using this feature wrong or does it not work, etc.?

It works for me, but you have to be "logged in" to FB for it to work. If your not, when you post, and check the box, a popup should appear asking for your credentials.

You may find that your posts also end up in a public google search...look your self up and see.

Tell the truth, what I share on RP I don't what to see on FB.

I don't even have a FB page so I will never get double anyways.
