He’s currently at Camp Lejeune and I am at RAF Lakenheath. Would I get stationed near him since he outranks me? Or how would that work? Dual military, different branches. Would we get stationed together? 2018-04-10T12:11:38-04:00 A1C Private RallyPoint Member 3530919

I’m getting married this year. Dual military is hard enough in the same branch, it will be much harder to keep you in commuting distance in two separate branches. Be prepared for a tough road ahead. Thank you for your service. That's about the only way it will happen. Likelihood of being stationed at the same physical location is slim. However, you might get lucky every so often and be stationed close. What's close? you ask, needs of the Air Force, needs of the Marine Corps.

That said, there are locations overseas where Marines and Airman are stationed near each other, Okinawa, Japan comes to mind. Not knowing what your betrothed's MOS is, it would be hard to try and predict if you would ever be stationed together. Good Luck! Your looking at maybe 4 bases worldwide he can be stationed at. Response by SSgt Dan Montague made Apr 10 at 2018 11:42 PM 2018-04-10T23:42:44-04:00 2018-04-10T23:42:44-04:00 2018-04-10T12:11:38-04:00
