BAH fraud is one of the most convicted offenses in the Army and people serve actual jail time for it. Unless you have a very long AIT it doesn&#39;t make sense that your spouse would move, just to move again a few months later. On top of that, the Army is only going to pay what it would have cost to move your spouse and household goods from where you entered the Army. That means if you move away from where your first duty station will be, you may have to come out of pocket somewhat when you PCS. The only time it would make sense is if your AIT is PCS length and your spouse won&#39;t be going with you, which would fall under other rules.
