I heard this story earlier. I had no idea this man was a veteran. Thanks for sharing SSG John Erny. I'm glad to hear that he's getting the food he needs.

I just heard this story and it is sad he has no one there to help. My total respect for the 911 Dispatcher and her folks, they didn't have to do what they did and I'm sure they would have helped anyone in that situation. I am also glad to hear that others in the area have stepped up to help him out also. Salutes and total respect for the community and their 911 team.
