I had to do something similar to this for my portfolio class prior to graduation last year.

We had to prepare a speech between 15-30 seconds about who we are, what we do, and why we are calling or interviewing for a job.

Reason behind it is, most people have a very short attention span...........squirrel......... where was I..... oh, and are very busy with their day to day task, so we need to pitch ourselves quickly and accurately to get us that dream job.

I think I did mine is about 24 seconds, but 15 would be difficult, especially for a web designer.
