Errors from 81st in PPRL could cause a delay in career progression

A Battalion submitted the memo of the TPU Junior Enlisted Board proceedings to SGT and SSG with the list of soldiers considered for Promotion.

If a name from that list is not published in the Jr PPRL-Promotable, it should appear in the Jr PPRL-Non Promotable? What if a name is not in those lists? Could that soldier lose the chance to be promoted? How long could this take to be fixed?

In my opinion, this could cause a delay in well deserved promotions.

For example, 4 soldiers (A-550pts, B-420pts, C-360 & D-301)were recommended for SGT and there is only 3 positions available in the unit. Soldier's A name is missing in both PPRL(Promotable & Non Promotable) lists and soldiers B, C & D are in PPRL-Promotable. So, the soldiers filling the 3 available positions would be B, C & D. That means Soldier A could lose the chance to be promoted due to a mistake when he should be the first on the list. (Assuming his promotion packet is 100% correct).

I really appreciate your responses. Please, I do not want the "you are just an E4" or "seriously SPC you are too young to be SGT" responses.

SPC Lopez, I think there was a problem everywhere with the PPRL's.....as one of my AGRs came to me to say that HRC errouroynsly promoted 12 42As. So I think there will be a big scrub of all the promotion list.

SPC Lopez if I was Soldier A my first call would be to the IG as you stated it is unacceptable. An why should a Soldier that rightfully should be on the list miss out on a deserved promotion. This will cause a hold up in the promotions as it will start an investigation of the promotion process at the 81st RRC. An maybe that is what needs to happen to call out the misjustice. Just so you know Soldier A needs to inform the chain of command that they are going to call the IG as they should be the first line of defense for the Soldiers rights.

I know this thread has been posted for a while but I was wondering would anyone be available to tell me about my status on the July/ August PPRL list or slating report? It's like pulling teeth with my unit to find out anything . If there is a link , that would help as well.
