This comes from a former Roommate. The story goes that he had a roommate before me who would steal any food that he kept in the room, so he went and bought a dozen frosted brownies, scraped off the frosting, and re-frosted them with chocolate flavored ex-lax. I'll leave the results open to your imagination. SGT Richard H. The night shift people were always bored, because nothing too important happen at night, it would mostly happen during the day. Well this brought on the play the practical jokes on the guy that did work on days (me).

I would come to work and the computer cables would be switched out, unplugged. Everything on my desk would be upside down, things were moved from their original position etc, etc. The straw that broke the camels back came when I came to work and there was a castle made from water (6 pack of water encased in plastic) and it was over my desk. I was not able to get to my desk until I removed all 200 cases of water. I thought it was funny, but did not like the fact that I had to move and find a place for all this water.

So I waited patiently for this guy to have a night off and then, I moved his desk and all of his belongings, computer, desk, mouse, hard drive, everything and set it up in its original position in a I even got with the IT guy to have him wire everything so that he could still do his job from all the way in that hangar.

I came to work the next day and I found all of his things back in the office, he told me that the Civilians from that Hangar did not want this stuff there and they moved it all for him.

I took that explanation, but later on in the day a couple of he night shift guys that had transferred over to day asked me " Why was that guy dragging a desk through the gravel at 0100 in the morning?"

Suffice it to say I never got a prank again from that guy. I sat a deck of cards on a large rat trap inside top drawer of Alberto's Desk. I had type III (550) cord filler line attached to the trigger and the other end taped to the inside top of the desk. So, he comes to work and us Riggers are standing around waiting for the show to start. I say, do you have a marker handy? He opens the drawer and 52 cards come flying at him. So good. Soft, true-to-taste fruit flavors like the sugar variety...I was a happy camper.

BUT (or should I say BUTT), not long after eating about 20 of these all hell broke loose. I had a gastrointestinal experience like nothing I've ever imagined. Cramps, sweating, bloating beyond my worst nightmare. I've had food poisoning from some bad shellfish and that was almost like a skip in the park compared to what was going on inside me.

Then came the, uh, flatulence. Heavens to Murgatroyd, the sounds, like trumpets calling the demons back to Hell...the stench, like 1,000 rotten corpses vomited. I couldn't stand to stay in one room for fear of succumbing to my own odors.

But wait; there's more. What came out of me felt like someone tried to funnel Niagara Falls through a coffee straw. I swear my sphincters were screaming. It felt like my delicate starfish was a gaping maw projectile vomiting a torrential flood of toxic waste. 100% liquid. Flammable liquid. NAPALM. It was actually a bit humorous (for a nanosecond)as it was just beyond anything I could imagine possible.

AND IT WENT ON FOR HOURS."

Thank you for that, TSgt Joshua Copeland. One very dark night at Ft Hood we were doing night movement. I pulled out the NVGs and it did not work. My PSGT and the other tank commanders were telling me to go here and go there. I had no ability to tell my driver where to go. I am sure he was told to just follow along as his night vision device was working for him. I was too inexperienced to say lets index this thing and start all over with a NVG that worked for me. I was mobilized to Ft Benning as a brand new 1LT as HHC CDR for a reserve unit. The guys were always joking that I was old enough to be a COL. So, one day I get ready to go to the PX during lunch. Grab my hat and field jacket and head out. I get out of the car and on the way in I am approached by a MAJ who promptly salutes me and says "Good morning, Sir". I looked down and the guys had swapped out the rank on my hat and jacket with LTC rank while I was out of the office.

When I was a 2LT we had a very gullible, not so bright 1LT in our BN. One day during AT, I got him to interrupt a meeting between our BC and XO to ask the XO for a box of grid-squares.

A couple of days before we were to redeploy from Iraq, some of the staff officers filled the BC's office with shredded paper and packing peanuts. The office walls in our TOC did not go all the way to the ceiling, so we dumped them over the wall so that when he opened the door he got an avalanche.
