So, apparently Chesty's House is for sale. I had the opportunity to do the Chesty Puller 10k down here a last month. Beautiful area. Gorgeous House (from the outside).

Now there's a ghost I could live with. What an honor to cohabit with a legend. I might also like to spend a night with Mr Lincoln but I suspect he vacated his bedroom in the White House rather than continue haunting it in the company of Left wing celebrities who have purchased the right to scare him...

Looks nice, and the price isn't that big of a big turnoff (to me anyways). However, it's in a small, out-of-the-way town. I guess if you don't want/need the city life, that doesn't pose a problem. Based on the estimate by Zillow, it looks overpriced. I'm sure Zillow doesn't automatically factor in the historical value.

$395,000 I wish I lived near there. I wouldn't want to move up to Virginia but would love a chance to buy the house. It might drive my wife nuts that I would have to say "good night Chesty Puller, wherever you are, you fighting son of a bleep" every night when I hit the rack.
