I am currently Armor branch and my detail ends within a little over a year, I am requesting an exception to remain Armor but require a letter of recommendation from a LTC or above. My current SCO agree'd to help me but wants me to write up a first draft. Does anyone have a letter of recommendation example that was successful? If not, does anyone know what Armor branch is looking for the letter to address about an applicant?
