Family is possibly PCSing to Fort Irwin. My spouse is a AG Officer(42B). What would the schedule of an AG officer be like?

I would like to prepare if we are moving to Fort Irwin. Would my spouse also be in the field for two weeks straight or be on a normal schedule? Thank you.

Depending on the Command climate/his shop’s ability level.... either manageable or loooooong.

It depends if he is an Observer/Controller for the exercise. If he is, long hours per rotation.

Ok, simply stated AG is just a lot of work just a lot. Long hrs will have to prioritize and manage your time. It also depends on the level and what you’re responsible for.. Overall, I’m only a CPT where we do the work and also have a staff, it’s a lot..

What unit is your Spouse going to? What rank is your spouse. Are they going to be an S1? That makes all the difference in answering this.
