REPORT: "...In 2010, [US Navy Commander] Misiewicz caught the world's attention when he made an emotional return as a U.S. Naval commander to his native Cambodia, where he had been rescued as a child from the violence of the Khmer Rouge and adopted by an American woman. His homecoming was widely covered by international media."

Yes it was greed and lack of requisite values to keep them straight. As an Asian-American who was also adopted, my disgust I unmitigated.

Its just plain old greed mixed with lack of self respect.
Yeah I probably would have been tempted to accept the bribes but since I am a horrible liar I am certain I would be busted immediately. Not much sympathy for those people who know that its wrong to do these things but they cry and are regretful once caught.
Be a mature adult and pass the temptations because in the end they will only bite you in your backside.

PO2 Peter Klein, well, now that you ask: complete and total disdain for a country and its values that adopted and welcomed his sorry ass to bring him to a country where he could live to his highest potential rather than pissing on it. Just sayin'...
