With Thanksgiving around corner I'd love to hear what your favorite food to eat at Thanksgiving is and what everyone is cooking up if they are doing so? If you are deployed or overseas, what do you miss?

Chicken! Ham! Sweet Potatoes! Corn (on the cob best, but meh...corn), green beans, potatoes!
Pies! Hot Apple Cider! Coffee at the end of the meal.....a warm hearth with a comfortable chair. Ahhh!

Turkey, any potato but sweet, cornbread or country stuffing, corn, green beans and a dinner roll (Hawaiian). Finish it off with Pumpkin pie, Football and Buffalo Trace (Bourbon) on ice.

Oven roast turkey, potatoes; mashed with butter and sweet with marshmallows, stewed cranberries, pumpkin pie (whipped cream), sweet corn, coffee (black, hot, strong), fresh from the cow milk (chilled) and either a B&B or Benedictine after.

Once again, I find myself in a situation where it's just not possible to pick only one...the FEAST is what sets the Thanksgiving meal apart from all other meals (holiday or otherwise). The table should be struggling to support the shear weight of the feast which rests upon it!!

My "famous" cornbread stuffing. This goes along with the turkey, mashed potatoes with turkey gravy, green bean casserole, cranberries and Costco pumpkin pie with whipped cream.
