Field of Heroes near San Antonio (Any comments?) https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/field-of-heroes-near-san-antonio-any-comments <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am moving to San Antonio soon from Idaho, We have what's called the Field of Heroes. We place a cross or Star of David for every service member that has died since 9-11; OIF, OEF and OND.. I want to take this amazing display with me to Texas. Not for me but for those wounded and rehabilitating in Ft Sam Houston and allow them the chance to go out to this Field during Memorial Day weekend and visit those who didn't come back. If you would like to see what it looks like, check out "Idaho Field of Heroes" I know so many vets who go to this field and mourn their lost brothers and sisters. I truly feel it would help everyone remember those who were lost as well as bring together people from across the state. It is very touching and important to be able to say goodbye but also to remember. I search every year for the few that I know so that I can have some closure, I think it would help those recovering to have closure as well and be able to move on with their lives. Any comments or suggestions!
