Floyd Mayweather Jr. takes questions during a news conference in Los Angeles on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015. Mayweather is scheduled to face Andre Berto in a boxing bout Sept. 12 in Las Vegas. (AP Photo/Nick Ut) Unless you have been living under a rock, you are aware of the long-standing verbal spat between boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr. and MMA superstar Ronda Rousey. Without going over every back-and-forth comments which, if you have been following, you’ve heard or read about a hundred times, let’s just say that these two don’t exactly like one another. Simply put; they won’t be sending one another Christmas cards during the holiday season. But just as often as these two mega-athletes have grabbed the headlines with their ongoing feud, we have seen just as much speculation as to who would actually win in a potential showdown and this is where things get tricky. It’s popular belief that Mayweather would beat Rousey in a boxing match but in an MMA battle Rousey would dismantle Mayweather and regardless of which opinion you side with there is one universal opinion that everyone seems to agree on: That this fight would never, ever happen. Not so fast. While it’s extremely unlikely that either boxing or the UFC would allow such a showdown to occur there is one arena that would not only allow it, but welcome it with open arms and turn this into on of the most profitable matchups in sports history. The arena of professional wrestling and the stage of WrestleMania. PAGE 1 / 4 Continue Comment on this story Report Corrections Reprints & Permissions

Boxing she'd get her ass kicked. MMA she'd get her ass kicked unless it went to the ground. If she could get close enough to use her Olympian level judo, she'd take him to the ground and it's now her fight. However, she has to get close without getting knocked out first.

Plain and simple, Ronda is a woman and Floyd is a man. Plain genetics and logic dictate that Mayweather would knock her out.

Don't get me wrong, I am a Ronda fan and NOT a Money fan so I hope that if this fight ever did happen, she'd prove me wrong.

BUT, there will never be a professional fight (I'm talking a REAL fight, not one where the winner is predetermined WWE style) between a man and woman, so this is all speculation.
