As with any new opportunity I spent a lot of time researching. To be honest I would say I was a bit obsessed with making sure I made the right decision. However, taking the extra time to research helped me tremendously, especially when I started talking to Dee Morgan, who was my recruiter at AAA-The Auto Club Group.

I don’t know exactly why it stuck to me the way it did but for whatever reason integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do were the core values I followed and expected from my future employer after my career in the Air Force. Once I found, AAA – The Auto Club Group and learned about their rich tradition serving, protecting, and delivering exceptional experiences for more than 100 years. I was convinced I found my next mission.

After nervously interviewing I was given an opportunity to join their team as Property and Causality Insurance Agent in 2012. And from that moment forward I have tried my best to continue using the same values that were taught to me so many years ago.

I would highly recommend AAA-The Auto Club Group, they offered me training, opportunities for growth, and a very comfortable standard of living. And if that doesn’t top it all off I also know the work I’m doing is really helping protect my members and their standard of living.

Ultimately I’d like to offer a bit of advice to whomever is transitioning regardless of where you’re at in your career. There is nothing out there that will completely fill the void that is left after the uniform is off. But it is my belief that there is also nothing out there that does a better job preparing you to be mentally and physically tough. Companies like AAA – The Auto Club Group understand this and will go out their way to bring you on to their team. They understand the sacrifice and the commitments you made, along with the discipline it takes to give it 100% for 100% of the time!

Learn more about a career with AAA-The Auto Club Group here: https://rly.pt/AAACareer
