Well, I can say that I got the FitBit Fever, now I'm walking everywhere around! That 10,000 steps mark is my goal everyday! And let's not talk about the Challenges! You can create challenges and invite people to compete with you. I do like PT but this last week I ran more than 15 miles, definitely a personal record. If you ever see a coworker walking in the same place, or walking up and down the hallway, odds are is using a FitBit and is in a Challenge. You earn points for healthy eating, workouts and such. Staying on track supposedly gets you a discount on your gym membership and can even earn you a discount on health insurance costs next year. The points can be used to by things on the "mall" including Fitbit stuff. My work schedule is very chaotic and often interferes with my workout routine and sleep. The tracking features make me aware of the cumulative lack of sleep and exercise that I previously dismissed. It's also helpful to see the immediate impact of those two issues on my resting heart rate. Great way to track your heart rate during workouts. I know its mainly a pedometer, but there are a lot of other functions that make it worth the buy!! My wife bought one too. It instantly became the subject of a fun competition between us, with her winning the day more times that not. In January 2015 I carelessly I lost my One and ordered an HR Connect. I still don't have it, but FitBit swears it is on the way. I've used the Health App on my iPhone since, bit it is not as good, or as portable. C-Pap. Measures my sleep down to the minute and tells me in their own weird way how many apnic/hypopnic events I have per hour over the course of the night's sleep. I wish I waited another two weeks for the Fitbit Charge HR, but I had the Fitbit Force and it died on me. I needed a replacement fast. I’ve been using fitness trackers for about 4 years and love them. My first one was the Bodybugg. It’s the most accurate, but I didn’t like the monthly subscription. <br />Knowing calorie burn is great, but without knowing calorie intake it’s not very helpful I use the Fitbit app on my Galaxy 5 to log everything I eat. Monitoring calories in/out has been very helpful in maintaining weight. I was instantly addicted! Since my first one, I've had the One, Flex, Force, back to Flex, and now the Charge, not the HR one as I don't see that as necessary for me. I originally got to track my sleep, rather than my steps. I knew I was sleeping poorly, and just didn't realized how badly. My Fitbits have helped to improve my quality of sleep.
