I even put a solar-charged light on the flag for nighttime display. <br /><br />Related story: when I was stationed in South Carolina years ago, the school that my kids attended had a policy against reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. The entire time we lived in SC, we always brought the flag out in the morning and recited the pledge before school.

Just to the right of the window on the right also is a light that shines on that flag. This flag is brand new and I used it just before Memorial day to replace the older flag that had done its service. The Old flag was brought to the American Legion Post of which I&#39;m a member after it was Tri Folded here so it can be disposed of properly with honors in a ceremony at the post.
