For a prior service going to MEPS, do I have to bring all of my VA medical documents or can they just look it up on their computers?

I have been out for a couple of years and now decided to go back in. My question is do I have to print out and bring all of my VA medical documents to meps or can they just look it up on their computers? Thanks.

Any pertinent documents for medical waivers (if required) should have been digitally submitted by your recruiter. Other than that your other medical records should re-populate in MEDPROS.

If you went to the VA for any medical appointments that would help if you need a waiver then yes bring that- you can get those records online or you can also get your medical records from a military clinic if they have that office there

If you filled out on your 2807-2 that you are receiving anything from the VA, you will have to bring it. MEPS does not have your file(s) go bring up. You put it on the form, you have to provide the proof. The one thing that they will request is your evaluation of what was done to give you the percentage that you have.

I have heard two conflicting things as it pertains to this. Some have said the MEPS docs can pull your in-service medical records and some have said that they can't.
