For all you Commanders, XO's and PL's...how did you label your exhibits (evidence) when conducting a FLIPL?

Okay CPT Private RallyPoint Member. First, since I was unfamiliar with the current term, I looked up financial liability investigation for property loss (FLIPL).
In the 20th century before the PC was used, we relied on paper products entirely and took statements from anybody involved in a property loss which could include line of duty aspects.
We also used the microfiche capability to determine the "book value" of the property and considered total loss versus damage to the items(s) to help determine replacement cost or repair costs to determine whether the item was salvageable.

First off - start with your local (CO/BN/BDE) SOP for exhibits then check each regulation concerning FLIPL's . Make sure to list each FLIPL exhibit clear and place a exhibit label on each one. when you submit it, scan the exhibits separate and try to include as much as you can, sworn statements, photos, copies of signed records

A, B, C, etc. Ensure you know them so you can reference them in your findings MFR. I did my findings first then numbered the Annexes in the order in which they were referenced.
