From my understanding, the Air Force is extremely selective on taking people from other services and it's not often it happens. <br /><br />You should go talk to an Air Force recruiter to see if any options are available.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 28 at 2020 1:14 PM2020-12-28T13:14:56-05:002020-12-28T13:14:56-05:00COL David Turk6614643<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I got here too early! BUT - only a Recruiter can help you - go ask - then come back here and give us all up-to-date info!!Response by MCPO Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 28 at 2020 10:24 PM2020-12-28T22:24:06-05:002020-12-28T22:24:06-05:00MSgt Private RallyPoint Member6616585<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have served with a couple Army to Air Force converts in my career, it is certainly possible. That being said, apply, you have nothing to lose.Response by MSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 29 at 2020 3:41 PM2020-12-29T15:41:59-05:002020-12-29T15:41:59-05:00Lt Col Jim Coe6617861<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I’ll add my voice to those saying talk to an Air Force recruiter. Consider Active Duty, Reserve, and Air Guard. Another choice you could consider is complete your Army contract, and then use GI bill to get bachelors degree while taking AFROTC. <br /><br />Yes, the AF and Space Force are particular about whom they recruit. It’s worth a try. Recruiters have restrictions on the number of prior service people they can accept.Response by Lt Col Jim Coe made Dec 30 at 2020 10:36 AM2020-12-30T10:36:12-05:002020-12-30T10:36:12-05:002020-12-28T12:30:35-05:00
