For college students: what is/was the one class in which you REALLY knew you were "the military veteran?"

I know that our views on the world are usually different than our classmates and peers, so I'm asking which class really stood out as the one where you had a singular insight or opinion that set you apart (not necessarily negatively) from the others.

I'm halfway through my MBA and my experience is that there isn't one class that stands out. I've felt like the vet in every class. It seems each faculty member and most students are very interested in the unique perspective I bring to the discussion. It all depends on the university. Some accept and support the military more than others.

World History, 1972. After returning from Vietnam I had a history professor, a Marxist who would talk about how great that system is and that we are fools to fall for ours. I offered to pay for a one way ticket for him..... he was quiet from then on.

Well, when I infrequently showed up in uniform - I certainly stood out! Aside from that, my Public Administration Policy definitely showed that "one of these was not like the others!"
