Could be as little as 3 days, to as long as 60 days. All depends, really.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 28 at 2017 2:53 PM2017-11-28T14:53:28-05:002017-11-28T14:53:28-05:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member3127273<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I was an engineer and I would say it depends on the unit and the mission higher command has tasked the unit with. I do not think there are any set lengths for engineer units when going to the field.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 28 at 2017 3:26 PM2017-11-28T15:26:51-05:002017-11-28T15:26:51-05:00CPL Private RallyPoint Member3139201<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>As a 12N myself. The field we spend normally 2 weeks out. But we try to make it back before then. Manuel labor is when it had to be done. Other then that it's done with the equipment. Like everyone else said it depends on the mission set. What type of unit your with.Response by CPL Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 2 at 2017 6:56 PM2017-12-02T18:56:07-05:002017-12-02T18:56:07-05:00SPC Joshua Werner3139395<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Did it for 8 hears in the reserves best years of my lifeResponse by SPC Joshua Werner made Dec 2 at 2017 8:34 PM2017-12-02T20:34:48-05:002017-12-02T20:34:48-05:00PV2 Private RallyPoint Member3308856<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>As a 12N in the 173rd we are normally out for a month and hit the field several times a yearResponse by PV2 Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 30 at 2018 8:35 PM2018-01-30T20:35:27-05:002018-01-30T20:35:27-05:00SP6 Renee Hatfield3516307<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>All the time, if you are in a good unit.Response by SP6 Renee Hatfield made Apr 5 at 2018 10:12 PM2018-04-05T22:12:52-04:002018-04-05T22:12:52-04:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member4324188<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If he goes to 62nd engineer battalion he’ll go to NTC in Ft Irwin once a year ....not knocking the engineer world but I can’t wait to reclass out of it... the engineer world is one of those MOSs where you never really do your job unless you’re deployed from what I’ve heard 4 years in the army I went to ntc 2 times and did a lot of random post detailsResponse by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 28 at 2019 4:44 PM2019-01-28T16:44:40-05:002019-01-28T16:44:40-05:002017-11-28T14:50:27-05:00
