I read your website and it does not answer the question for me. I have joined public advocacy groups in the past. The only one so far that ever steadily produced results was Amnesty International, letter writers network, freeing political prisoners behind the Iron Curtain (was a member during the Cold War). I belong to American Legion and am on board with most of their positions but every once in a while I disagree with them as well. So my past experience has been a mixed bag. Hard to find an advocacy group which produces results that are measureable. I&#39;ve been conducting my own research on combat trauma dating back to WW Two. I believe that early engagement of those having served in combat zones is critical, since only 6 of the 20 suicides per day are seen at a VAC.
