If you live in the D.C./Baltimore metro area, I invite you to join me and and my 5-year-old cancer survivor son, Patrick, on 3/28 from 11-4 at Flanagan's Harp & Fiddle, 4844 Cordell Ave, Bethesda, MD, to help raise much-needed funds for childhood cancer research.

This head shaving event is sponsored by the St. Baldrick's Foundation and organized by members of the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Pediatrics staff. A good friend of mine that lives in California had her head shaved on stage at a St. Baldrick's event last year. She loved it.
