Getting back into EOD ?

Is there any chance of getting back into EOD school if you DORd? I went through fort lee and made it to Eglin AFB without much trouble and once I got to TMDs I dropped. I’ve regretted my decision every day and am dying to get back in to school. I’ve heard roomer that army EOD is hurting for personnel but I’m not sure if they would take back some one who quit. Is there any way back in given that?

When did you go through Eglin? I taught everything but BC so I may have been one of your Instructors. LOL

Yes, all of the services are hard up and offering money for re-enlistment. I can't offer any insight as to what it takes to reapply. Your best bet is to contact your local EOD shop and get the latest from them.

You would have to pass the interview again. EOD is no longer an application with an acceptance memo, but you have to interview with an EOD agent who administers the bomb suit test and writes his recommendation. I don't know if the proponent reviews all the applications or not, but I'd say that's a pretty steep hurdle to overcome.
