In reference to your question about SPCs and PFCs being given NCO rank, that is not true. Now, having said that, everyone going through the course is treated the same, regardless of rank. The SPCs in my WLC class were called SGT for the duration of the course, and that is because it was meant to teach them to be NCOs. The only way I could see having to stand at parade rest for one of them is if they were in a student leadership position over you. There is nothing wrong with this, and it will probably happen, so just check your ego at the door and go with it. I am at SLC right now and have a SSG Platoon Sergeant. It doesn't bother me one bit because we are all training to be Senior NCOs. Just keep that same mentality when you go through class, it is only a couple weeks.
And this isn't the only place that rank doesn't matter. Ranger school candidates go through and actually take their rank off. You could technically have a PFC at Ranger school in charge of a Major. It is all about learning leadership...

In regards to? There is a lot that happens in WLC and no two places are the same it seems. What are your questions in particular?

As SGT Riser said, we're going to need a bit more clarification as to what specific questions you have.

well I'm hearing that SPC and PFC are given NCO rank and that actual NCO's have to stand at parade rest for them how can this be allowed that sounds demeaning to the NCO corp
