Who came up with this? Just doesn't make sense altogether on so many levels. What is your thought on this? I dont get how they match the levels. The salary of a GS employee does not include BAH. There is a locality adjustment, however, that varies depending on the location.
2. Much like SFC Smith stated, when applying for a federal position, your experience and education will allow you to apply for a higher grade.

Since you're in the DC area, I recommend calling Henderson Hall and attend their Cracking the Code Workshop; it's offered monthly. That workshop is pretty informative on the federal hiring process and developing your application package. You can inbox me for more information. Base your search for employment at a GS scale on experience. There is absolutely no reason why an SFC shouldn’t be targeting positions at the GS 10 -12. The really high speed guys can look at 13s with relative success, especially MI. COL Private RallyPoint Member Sun, 03 Jun 2018 19:11:22 -0400 2018-06-03T19:11:22-04:00 2014-08-08T13:50:59-04:00
