I have never learned either discipline, but I would love to. There are no good places to take it in the rural town I live.

That's a bummer SPC David Shaffer . I hope you get the chance to some day. It has really changed my life in terms of providing low-impact exercise, as well as increased focus and mindfulness that translates well to work and other things.

William Chu I do practice mindfulness. It has made my recovery a lot more fruitful. I really miss practicing martial arts, but my body can not take the abuse that it used to. I used to practice Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, some kickboxing, and a little bit of other various arts as well. The biggest fear for me is not being able to control myself. I quit practicing because my brain injury has made me very impulsive, and I lose my self-control if I get too angry. I will be looking for a school. It sounds like it could possible help me.

I hope you are able to find a place. You'll definitely be able to pick it up quickly considering you have experience in other styles.
