Has any supply personnel had any experience with starting an SSA from the ground up? Looking for some guidance and advice. Thanks

Yes I have. Get demand history from logsa. Establish warehouse locations. Establish r/o's based on equipment density. Get some RX on the ground.

What specifically are you looking for? That is a very broad area. Are you planning a new site/building or simply a new layout? Is this CONUS or OCONUS? What environment, desert/woodland/urban? So much to talk about in all of those. Have you looked at: atp4_42x2_SSA Ops?

Wow...didnt it know it was so detailed. Basically im in a unit thats starting up and we are being tasked with setting up an SSA when we go to AT. As for the terrain im not sure. Just trying to be prepared for any and everything. Would like to research and gain some knowledge since this is new territory. I will check that atp. Thanks

Also, will it be stationary or mobile? A combination of both? Those questions really matter as well.
