Has anyone been to 92A ALC withIn the last year (I am going in July and I just want to know what I'm in for)?

I am in phase I now. Its been GCSS-Army warehouse training, PRT, In ranks inspection & Order briefings.

I went in sept of 12 as a 25b. (Secondary mos 92a) The basics are the same. Start the day with NCO Creed. Your corps creed and then conducting training. You will also learn in ranks inspection, more basic marching and MOS comoentencies.

Been there done that , it was ok ... GCSS Training was boring slide show killer, we did yard work a majority of the time , there was an awesome community service project... but for the most part it's "learning experience"

As you can guess phase one will be death by power point focusing on GCSS-A. You will also do basic in ranks inspection, reading the NCO Creed, PRT, briefing and a bit more. We also did what was called an OE, you basically had a class discussion about anything happening in the news. Could be about gun control, BLM, conflicts, protesters, national, local or world wide.

I haven't been there for a long while but FT Lee is a fun place I taught there for many years as an instructor. new facility, comfortable chairs, ect. Housing is good, food is great, a lot of history and Virginia Beach, Washington DC tourist attraction.

Pain. lots of pain. Just kidding. You will be fine. ALC is different from BLC in the way the AIT is different from BCT.
