Has any other Chaplain Assistants been in a role like this? My job would be to process the paperwork for the recruits, not to actually go an recruit them. The Chaplain that I am assigned to will do that. Good or bad but helpful please. There is much more flexibility in regards to medical standards and obtaining waivers. (At least back then) You will want to focus your efforts on both the experienced Clergy and those just graduating out of college.
