Has anyone else read 'Irresistible Revolution' by LtCol Matthew Lohmeier? If so, what do you think of his assessment?

I read a review of the book. The topic is timely. I think if people want to know about conflct theory and Marx, they need to read about the Industrial Revolution and a few books by Dickens. I also think most people have never read Marx or Engels.

SGT (Join to see) I understand conflict theory and it's basis in Marxism, but, again, the thesis of the book has little to do with conflict theory and more to do with the subversive tactics and pernicious nature Marxism and how it has managed to poison the military.

SGT (Join to see) - I have read reviews - but it seems to me a different way of explaining how Alinsky's rules are being utilized, with a focus on our military.

SSG Robert Perrotto - I have begun reading the book. Extremism is a two way street I am afraid. He is presenting one side so far as I have read. He wasn't alive when I was in a Class A uniform facing down Soviet and East German troops in EAST Berlin, in order to exercise America's military right to be there. He was also not alive when I saw White and Colored Only signs in Florida and elderly Blacks called me, a child, Mr. David. The military was not even integrated fully until 1948.
I firmly believe in the greatness of the idea of the Republic and the Constitution and all it entails. We have not always lived up to those ideals. We must learn all of our history, even the ugly parts, in order to live up to those same ideals
It is up to us as Americans "to form a more perfect Union". We can only do that by protecting the rights of all of its citizens and teaching our children to do the same. SGT Joseph Gunderson
