Has anyone ever had an online physical fitness trainer? Did you find it valuable or not worth the cost?

1stLt Private RallyPoint Member although I haven't had a on line trainer I can see it being an acceptable way of getting information. However, I would missed the personal interaction and communication when training.

I utilized a few online programs through bodybuilding.com. They were free programs and as long as you have the commitment, self-discipline, and self-control for an online program, they will payoff.

I used P90X with beach body.com for 7 months and i got good results

I use Bowflex Gym equipment, their videos and online Fitness Trainer Tom Holland. Bowflex also has some exercise apps that are very good.

I have had friends use them for triathlon training and they were all much better from it.

While I have found some of the online training techniques to be useful, there will be a few things that they can't provide:

A spot when you're digging to push that last rep.
Real time feedback about your form.
Those "tough love" words of motivation when you're not preforming to your potential.

I wouldn't either. From is very important in not getting injuries.
