That said, diagnosed ADHD would require a waiver and if you are treated by any stimulants, you will need to be off of them for a year before you can joinResponse by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 9 at 2018 5:53 PM2018-03-09T17:53:29-05:002018-03-09T17:53:29-05:00SGT Eric Davis3431636<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You wanna be in you will do it OResponse by SGT Eric Davis made Mar 9 at 2018 6:11 PM2018-03-09T18:11:45-05:002018-03-09T18:11:45-05:00SGM Bill Frazer3432241<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>There have been many Psych consults at MEPS or the Doctors, normally for getting a wavier approved. Its not your recruiter's life it's yours- you want in, and they say do the consult, then do it.Response by SGM Bill Frazer made Mar 9 at 2018 10:48 PM2018-03-09T22:48:22-05:002018-03-09T22:48:22-05:00LT Private RallyPoint Member3433890<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This is one of those things you have to weigh. People with ADD and ADHD have difficulties entering the military depending on the severity of the disorder. If you’re motivated, try it! The consult is not honestly that bad.Response by LT Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 10 at 2018 2:53 PM2018-03-10T14:53:08-05:002018-03-10T14:53:08-05:002018-03-09T17:35:57-05:00
