Has anyone had any experience dealing with the army discharge review board?

It has been 12 months since I submitted my application to the army discharge review board and I haven't heard anything back other than they received my application and it is being processed. Has anyone had any positive feedback from the ADRB

Without jumping the chain of command, have you talked to your S1 shop yet? Your PSG or SL should be able to follow-up on this. The S1 shop will know where it is in the process.

Seeing that you said to MAJ Chang that you were discharged in 2012, is this a question to see if your discharge was lower than Honorable and you are trying to get it upgraded? Or overturned? Some clarification may help receive a more helpful response.

Turn around time is normally 12-24 months for any of the boards. They have a POC number on their website and an email address you can contact to see where your case is, but keep in mind they normally won't give you an exact estimate of how long it will take. However, it is good to make sure that they received it and that it is complete, so as to avoid them having to notify you that your case wasn't processed due to it missing signatures or key items.
