Of course, being the eager graduate, I jumped into an army contract without knowing all of the resources available. Fast forward 2.5 years later, a friend of mine I graduated high school with has just commissioned through the Early Commissioning Program, and I was dumbfounded. He informed me about the Junior Military Colleges and what they had to offer, and it was like finding the fountain of youth. I don't wish to use this as a shortcut so to speak, but it does solve many of my problems I've had pursuing OCS/Green-to-Gold.

Please advise. Has anyone had any experience with going from an enlisted service member to a cadet in one of the Junior Military Colleges? 2019-06-16T17:50:44-04:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 4727528

I've had a passion and the drive to become a commissioned officer since my JROTC days in high school. He has an was an awesome place to work and talked about the opportunities it provided to future officers. There are a few officers I've worked with that have attended JMC's. By all means, go for it and be successful!
