PFC Michael Jansons 5036710 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I&#39;m currently in the process of going back in the army with a RE 3 code, as some may know. My recruiter suggested to try and submit the paperwork while we wait for the waiver process to play out. Has anyone actually had any luck with the review board? If so how long did it take? I read online that they are back logged about 26,000 cases. Has anyone had any luck with the Army Review Board? 2019-09-18T15:34:59-04:00 PFC Michael Jansons 5036710 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I&#39;m currently in the process of going back in the army with a RE 3 code, as some may know. If the code was in anyway reasonable at the time your discharge, you are realistically out of luck. Depends on what the arrest is for but looks like you are gonna have to get two waivers. One for the crime and one for the re code. And be useful. Bring in referrals so the recruiters don’t give up on you and actually invest in you. It’s a lot of work for them and hard to explain to higher up why they spending so much time on someone that may not join when they can find more qualified prospects. Just stick with it and go in once a week to keep the pressure on them. The board took years for many people I know. But they had all charges dismissed. If expunged, it’s very very hard to get all the documents. The unit forced me into a RE3 for hardship approval. Obviously I accepted. <br /><br />After situating my life I went back at it wanting to get back in the service.<br /><br />Long story short was granted waiver for my RE3. It’s all situational. I had to find a recruiter willing to help me through the process since I was prior service. Pretty much I had to provide documentation that a hardship no longer existed for my RE3 waiver which was reviewed by board. I also had a kidney stone which was reviewed by meps and also approved. If you see the setbacks I had. You show determination keep on your paperwork. Someone upstairs will see how bad you want it and understand that things happen and give you second chance. Never quit or accept defeat. Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 30 at 2019 9:34 PM 2019-09-30T21:34:34-04:00 2019-09-30T21:34:34-04:00 2019-09-18T15:34:59-04:00
