Has anyone had fear of failing NCO leadership School because of something they were not good at? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/has-anyone-had-fear-of-failing-nco-leadership-school-because-of-something-they-were-not-good-at <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I was afraid of failing NCO leadership school because I could not march very well. I had 2 left feet. In basic training I was put on guard detail because the TI didn't want the flight to look bad in Pass and Review. Which was ok because we got Honor Flight. The other thing is I am soft spoken and Yelling out Commands was not my strong point. As I made SSgt I new I probably would pass but being a worrier this was my fear. However in NCOES school they help you succeed. it is the old adage practice makes perfect. Practice during off time. ask someone you know is good in these areas, either before school or during. When I was selected to go to drill sergeant school I was nervous, and "soft spoken" was not sure I would to well. however I graduated in the top 10%. You have earn the NCO rank you show the potential , and with your battle buddies in the same class you should do great. Just don't be afraid to ask for help after duty hours. 1SG Jeffrey Bergeron Mon, 09 Jun 2014 20:48:56 -0400 2014-06-09T20:48:56-04:00 Response by CWO3 Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 15 at 2020 6:00 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/has-anyone-had-fear-of-failing-nco-leadership-school-because-of-something-they-were-not-good-at?n=5447039&urlhash=5447039 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>There was a meme on RP this week that said &quot;Train on what you suck at&quot;, enough said.
