Has anyone had issues once selected for SFAB?

So I was selected the week after Thanksgiving for assignment to SFAB. I was told I won’t get orders until I 1. Re-enlist or extend to meet the SRR, and 2. Adjust my deros date since I am stationed in Alaska (OCONUS). I’ve been attempting to get in touch with SFAB HRC without any luck. My report date is Jan 2019, which is approaching fast and I still have no orders. I also saw a MILPER message stating that 91B are entitled to a tier 7 bonus with reenlistment for SFAB if they have an ATRRS slot for CATC in Benning. I was told I can’t get the bonus because I won’t have a school date until I get to my unit at Hood and I would have already re-enlisted. Why would they have a bonus if it is unattainable? Has anyone gone through this or has any soldiers that have experienced this?

Unless things have changed, they are doing TDY enroute for CATC. The SFAC might be able to help with your orders and ATRRS slot.

I am running into this same issue. Did contacting them through social media help?
So, end result you were able to get the SFAB bonus?
