If accepted into STA-21 I am looking at applying to NROTC Colorado - possibly for Bio-Chemistry or Computer Science (both fields I have significant prior college credits in). Has anyone attended or lived close by? Best perk: Several DZs close by!

If you just saw a "down vote," that was me. Was trying scroll on my phone. This has been corrected. Will be more careful.

I grew up in Colorado and had a few friends go there for AFROTC. It's a great school with awesome science degrees. The AFROTC program there is top notch, so I'd assume NROTC is pretty good as well. But be warned, Boulder has the highest hippie population outside California, and you can smell weed almost anywhere you go. Also, it's Colorado's biggest party school, which might sound awesome but really just makes it a prime target for sexual assault scandals, especially when there's military members involved.

1992 Grad. I know both the out-going and in-coming XO's. I'd be happy to get you direct contact with either. Feel free to PM me as well.

Good luck ENS (Join to see)!
