Has anyone met for the first time on RallyPoint and then ran into them at a duty station?

RallyPoint advertises about building a network. Has anyone from here actually ran into each other outside of the internet? Has anyone actually called or email to use as a Network? Just curious is all.

Yes, I met an NCO through here a couple months ago then physically met him about a month ago at BDE. Some really good stuff. Would love to meet many others I have met on here too.

Trying to hook up with a friend I met through another friend on RP to play some music. We both travel a lot so it has not happened yet, but looking forward to jamming with him.

Lots! Not only have I met leaders face to face from Rally Point, I've also emailed leaders for advice and just general feedback.

So far every senior leader on Rally Point who I have engaged in an email has been responsive and happy to help give me guidance on whatever subject I'm inquiring about.

Just yesterday I met a CSM on here, connected with him on here, then talked to him about a situation of mine, sent him an email at his request and he is now working on helping me out as he said he has dealt with it before.

I have as well. Prior to my previous drill weekend, a soldier in my current company joined RP and connect with me before I even got the email that someone joined my unit. Sure enough at drill, he sought me out, and talked to me in person about RP and how active I was and that he aspired to be active as much as I am.
